an average age of just 18, these four girls made their mark in 2005
with commendable performances at meets like the SEA Games in the Philippines
and the Asian Fencing Championships in Sabah.
Their gold at the SEA Games in particular lifted fencing in Singapore to a new level, giving the sport a much - needed boost. Riding on the high of 2005, the girls - along with their team mates
- have continued to impress with fine results at meets in countries
