 |
| March 13, 2007 –The Special Training & Assistance Committee (STAC) this week began meeting with national sports associations, hoping to qualify athletes for the 2007 South East Asian Games. |
| During this round of visits, the committee will advise NSA officials on how to best prepare athletes and teams for the National Olympic Council’s athlete selection process. STAC also will make suggestions regarding the preparation of submissions to the Selection committee. The NSAs can put forward issues or concerns to the STAC members. |
| Dr. Tan Eng Liang, vice president of the Singapore National Olympic Council, heads the STAC committee. Low Teo Ping is Chef de Mission for the 2007 SEA Games, scheduled for December in Thailand.

| The next round of visits to NSAs will take place on Tuesday, March 27th . |
